St. Louis city restaurants can now operate at full capacity as long as they maintain social distancing.

Bars and restaurants throughout the St. Louis area can now function at full capacity, given that social distancing can still be maintained.

The announcement comes as part of the Reopen STL Order, a joint effort between County Executive Sam Page and St. Louis Mayor Tishaura Jones. Bars, restaurants and nightclubs in St. Louis County and city can now operate at the maximum capacity at which social distancing can be maintained, as opposed to capacities of 50 or 75 percent at different times during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In addition to the capacity rollbacks, establishments are now allowed to stay open until 3am if they so choose, which was previously limited to midnight amid the pandemic. The announcement also stated that individuals who are vaccinated are not required to wear masks outdoors, in line with recent CDC guidelines.

Updated COVID-19 restrictions for the city of St. Louis can be found on the city's website, and current County safety guidelines can be found on the County's website
