When you're craving sushi in Springfield, you can't go wrong at the city's original sushi bar. When it opened in 1999, Haruno Sushi Bar & Grill was the first of its kind, and even though others have followed since, it has remained a Springfield mainstay.
No matter your sushi preferences, there is probably a roll for you at Haruno. If you love your raw fish, the menu features classics like a spicy tuna roll or a Philly with smoked salmon, but you can also think outside of the box with the Incredible (California roll wrapped with seared salmon then topped with mixture of baked crab, green mussels, scallops and green onion, finished with citrus wasabi, seafood and eel sauces) or the Oriental Express (tuna, red snapper, squid, crab, avocado, tamago, masago, pickled yellow radish, sweet gourd shavings, wasabi, green onion, a little sesame oil and sriracha, ponzu and a citrus-wasabi sauce). Haruno also has plenty of shellfish options, and for those who want the sushi experience with none of the seafood, you'll love the Mr. Big, stuffed with bulgogi beef, cream cheese and carrot.
Haruno Sushi Bar & Grill is offering its menu for curbside pickup and limited dine-in service.
