While not necessary for this drink to work, infusing the bourbon with cinnamon will produce a more concentrated flavor. If you don’t want to go through that extra step, however, you can just add a dash or two of cinnamon to the shaker before mixing.

- 2 oz cinnamon-infused bourbon
- ½ oz amaretto
- 1 egg
- 2 tsp heavy cream
- freshly grated nutmeg, for garnish
| Preparation | In a cocktail shaker (with no ice), combine bourbon, amaretto, egg and heavy cream. Shake vigorously, then add ice and shake again for 30 seconds to get the egg nice and frothy. Strain into a chilled glass, top with grated nutmeg and serve.
