What's not to love about bao? These fluffy buns stuffed with meat and veggies are a perfect balance of carbs and protein, and generally make for a perfect meal no matter what time of day. You'd be remiss to skip them when headed to Le Bao, given that these pillowy buns are the namesake for the spot.
Le Bao differentiates its bao from its buns. Its bao are stuffed, like a dumpling, while its buns are open and filled like a sandwich. Whichever you choose, they promise to be delicious. The bao only come in three flavors – kimchi and pork belly, vegetable curry and Chinese barbecue pulled pork – but when it comes to buns, the possibilities are endless – lemongrass chicken, Philly cheesesteak, lobster roll, fried shrimp and bánh mì are just some of the options.
If you just want a bun or bao as a sidekick to your meal, Le Bao does offer plenty of other options. Try the ramen or a dish from the "something unexpected menu," whether that is wonton tacos, Jina's nachos, gyoza or jumping beans (AKA edamame).
Le Bao is offering its menu for carryout, curbside pickup, limited dine-in service and delivery through UberEats.
